NCERD news September and October 2008

October 15th - 16th 2008 - all Headteachers from Georgetown Schools meet in North Ruimveltd Multilateral School for a two day conference on leadership.
October 13th 2008 - NCERD staff Mrs Mary Harding, Ms Meg Caton and Mr Murray Greenidge travel to Mahdia Region 8 for the first FTI Educators workshop in that region.
October 9th 2008 - Educators of the FTI Programme are trained for the second time in Region 6
October 9th 2008 - No 29 Primary School in Region 5 is the host for the graduation of the latest batch of EMC graduates
October 8th 2008 - Module 5 Financial management is almost completed and ready to go online.
October 7th 2008 - start of the second training of the FTI Literacy Programme Educators
October 6th 2008 - Graduates of the Education Management Programme in Region 4 receive their certificates in Diamond Secondary School
September 23rd 2008 - Start of the programme in Georgetown for the training of Heads of Department. NCERD staff start a workshop for HODs Science from Georgetown Schools delivered in Tutorial High School.
September 16th 2008 - Trainee assessment Booklet completed and posted online.
September 15th 2008 - 42 Gaduates from Region 2 of the Education Management Programme meet for their graduation in Anna Regina Multilateral School
September 13th 2008 - Headteacher and teachers of Bartica Secondary School meet for a session with the education management Specialist in the Region 7 Resource Centre
September 10th 2008 - Application form for EMC now available online
September 9th 2008 - Minister opens the NCERD Resources Exhibition. See main article on the left.
September 5th 2008 - All Modules are now available online in text and PDF format.
September 2nd 2008 - Modules 1 - 4 and the Programme handbook are now available online in PDF Format. See the sidebar above.
September 1st 2008 - The handbook and Modules One and Two are now available online. See sidebar above.
